Chief Engineer/Site Resource Planner

EMEA FIN Service Operations is operating locally in Finland and across areas by supporting the local sales and having direct deliveries to the end customers. The organization employs more than 400 professionals who are managing high number of deliveries and projects on annual basis to drive our customer's performance forward.

We are now looking for a Chief Engineer/Site Resource Planner for Valmet's Field Service to be located in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Responsibilities for Field Service as a function are sales support, resource planning and site execution together with other Service Operations. Your tasks during the site planning phase are project scheduling, planning and cost estimation. Project planning also requires participating in customer meetings and in installation purchasing from subcontractors. During the site phase, the selected person is responsible for the site, so that customer targets and schedule are achieved. Active reporting is part of the job.

You are responsible for safety at work site and group orientation for safe operation according to Valmet and customer safety instructions.

Requirements:

You have a suitable technical education and experience of similar tasks, preferably 5 years or more. You are a team player who can easily adapt to different cultures and working environments.

You are fluent in Finnish and in English (both written and spoken). Swedish and German are seen as an advantage. You are familiar with modern information technology. The position requires willingness and ability to travel.
