Development Manager, R&D

Inspired by the challenges of product development management?

We are looking for an active, energetic Product Development Manager to be in charge of the development and upkeep of specialized measurements and analyzers in our Kajaani unit. In your position you will support the Analyzers & Measurements product group, ensuring that our products meet the HSEQ requirements and working on their continuous development and maintenance throughout the product lifespan. As a member in project steering groups you will take an active role in the productization phase of the product development process, working in close cooperation with our top professionals in the product management, sales, service and supply chain.

What you bring to us

Your educational background is for example from measurement technology, embedded systems, process technology, automation, or industrial engineering. We hope you have several years' experience from the field in specialist or managerial duties; experience of the paper, pulp or process industry is a definite advantage.

You are familiar with project management tools, groupware and data management systems, and know the health, safety, environmental and quality standards related to our products - or if not, you are happy to learn them.

You enjoy working with measurement technology and have the desire to design and implement measurement technology solutions for process technology environments, working

You are able to work both independently and as a member of a product development team, cooperating with internal and external interest groups. You are able to visualize large entities and make use of expert organizations to achieve results. An international matrix organization, teamwork, result-oriented management and networking come to you naturally, and you are able to communicate fluently in Finnish and English, both orally and in writing; other languages are a definite plus.
