Nuclear Technology Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Nuclear Technology Specialist for the Newbuild and Operating Services team within the Nuclear Services unit in Espoo. The responsibilities of the team include development and execution of projects related to services for external customers.

As a  Nuclear Technology Specialist you will participate actively in preparing and executing consultation and service projects to our international customers in the field of nuclear engineering and licensing or related to operation and maintenance of nuclear power plant. You will work closely together with our other nuclear power experts and in some cases with our external partners in order to create solutions and winning proposals for the needs of our customers.

What we are looking for

We expect you to have a Master’s degree in engineering in a relevant subject such as nuclear engineering, energy technology or power plant or process engineering. You are familiar with state-of-the-art nuclear power plant technology as well as with Finnish and international licensing requirements. You have general understanding of the most relevant nuclear power specific codes and standards. We expect that you have several years' experience in international projects. 

You are interested in international projects and ready to work in projects with firm schedules and deadlines. You have readiness to travel. Readiness to stay limited periods abroad would be an advantage. You have good communication and networking skills. Working with customers and in project teams motivates you. You have fluent oral and written communication skills in English. Finnish and/or Swedish is an advantage.
