As a Production Supervisor, you will have a great influence on the results and processes in the department. You will have the day-to-day responsibility for the department, which works in two-shift shifts. Along with the supporter features; PT, maintenance, planner and customer service - do you focus on ensuring that the department lives up to the objectives of safety, quality, correct delivery, productivity and costs. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and expand the security minimum in the department
- Customization and optimization of staffing
- Via LEAN, optimize processes, coach & develop team members and implement new activities to ensure continuous improvement
- Ensure standardized work
- Development of education, training and reshuffle plans
- Holding employee development and well-being interviews
- Compliance with and preparation of budgets in the department
Background & Skills
To be successful in this position, it is an advantage to have management experience, preferably in combination with good experience from production. You hold B.Sc., M.Sc., or higher degree within a technical field. Experience with LEAN methods, as well as optimization of processes will be a clear advantage. Finally, you must be able to commit yourself in Finnish, and preferably in English, both in writing and speech.
