Sales and Customer Relations Manager, Enter Espoo

We're looking for an experienced Sales and Customer Relations Manager in foreign direct investment attraction.

Enter Espoo's mission is to attract companies, investments and visitors to Espoo and help local players to succeed. Your task in this position is to attract international companies and foreign direct investments to Espoo and help companies enter Espoo - every step of the way. Your goal is to proactively identify and attract new clients together with our key partners and our multicultural team.

We're looking for a person who understands the growth and expansion strategies of international companies, is used to operate in an international business environment, and has a successful sales record in new business and investment opportunities. We're looking for someone who loves working with people, is sales and strategic-minded, and proactive. The person should have excellent communication and language skills, enjoy fast-paced and changing environments, and be a real team player.

In this position you:
- Attract international companies to Espoo.
- Find and develop investment opportunities with local key players (e.g. Aalto University, VTT, local corporations, and the City of Espoo).
- Promote investment opportunities to well-chosen target groups.
- Acquire proactively foreign direct investment clients and develop client relationships.
- Find suitable innovations, testbeds and partners for the clients and help them set up and do business in Espoo.
- Help ensure the business development and expansion of the companies that have set up business in Espoo.
- Work actively together with the local key partners in Espoo's innovation ecosystem as well as in other Finnish and international ecosystems.
- Prepare marketing and sales activities together with the team.
- Help increase the number of jobs in Espoo.
- Document, measure and follow the impacts of the actions.
  
In this position you need:
- An applicable university degree.
- Experience and results to show in international sales - foreign direct investment sales experience is seen as a benefit.
- Experience of working in an international, multicultural environment.
- Passion for and understanding of innovation and tech ecosystems
- Excellent spoken and written English skills, and fluent Finnish skills.
- The right mindset and can-do attitude.
- A readiness to travel.
- Other language skills and strong personal networks that are relevant especially in Espoo's innovation ecosystem are seen as benefits.
