Global Spares Center (GSC) supports Valmet Spare Part sales and operations globally. We are looking for a Spare Parts Specialist to join the fast-paced and demanding world of GSC. In your role, you support our global sales by defining the correct technical solutions to customer needs, by yourself or together with other experts. You handle the orders to our system and follow the deliveries are on time and keep customer informed. You will help sales with any questions related to products, pricing or delivery schedule. Your desk won't be empty, there will always be new orders and technical challenges.
Your closest team members work in Järvenpää and Jyväskylä and in this role your office location can be either one of these. This is a fixed term position until 31.12.2022.
Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you need to be customer-oriented and service-minded person with positive "can do" attitude. You need to be a team player and good in building up your own contact network. Willingness to learn new things and ability to take responsibility are essential in this role.
In addition, to succeed in this position, you should have:
- B.Sc or other equivalent degree in Engineering or Business
- Work experience of service business or engineering
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of ERP, Salesforce and PDM programs is an advantage
- Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage
- Knowledge of paper/board manufacturing process and equipment is an advantage
