Strategic Buyer, Plastic Recycling

About the role

We are looking for a Strategic Buyer for Plastic Recycling. Main focus of this role is to source material to plastics recycling operations. You will be responsible for planning and executing plastics sourcing, negotiating with plastics scrap suppliers and other stakeholders.  You get an excellent viewpoint to waste recycling and you’ll have an opportunity to became a professional in the field of plastics in a leading circular economy company. This role includes some travelling, mainly in Finland. Home office can based in any Recycling and Waste location in Finland

What we are looking for

You have BSc or similar level competence (commercial and/or technical) and at experience in waste management and/or recycling.  To be successful in the position you have good negotiation skills and understanding of customer expectations. Experience from plastics materials is an asset.  

As a person you have self-initiative, positive attitude, curiosity, drive for results and you feel comfortable in working with various stakeholders. Most of all you are great team player. You are fluent in English and Finnish other languages being a plus.
