Trainee, Mandatum Asset Management

As a Trainee, you will get an excellent overview of the diverse investment activities of a large asset management house. You will be working in one of our teams handling post trade activities, supporting institutional clients, monitoring risks, creating reports and analysis for key stakeholders, or maintaining and developing our financial database.

We offer a variety of tasks for people with different backgrounds and interests. Typical tasks as a Trainee may include day-to-day operations such as processing financial transactions, monitoring investment limits or working with investment data analysis, management and quality control. Other tasks may also be included depending on your interests.

The candidate we are looking for is a positive person and eager to learn new skills. You are in the final years of your Bachelor’s / Master’s degree studies in finance, economics, engineering or similar field and have a strong understanding of financial instruments. You are analytical, systematic and have an independent and proactive working style. We also expect you to have excellent collaboration, teamwork and communication skills in both Finnish and English.

The traineeship period is 5 - 12 months and we hope that the selected person is able to join us in May at the latest.
