Application Specialist, HR

We are looking for an Application Specialist , HR to join our Corporate Functions, HR & Admin team in Metso Outotec IT Applications. The job location is Espoo, Finland.

As an Application Specialist, HR you will join a multi-functional team to play a key role for the development and advanced support of HR applications and related interfaces. You collect and document requirements, perform functional analysis, design, build/test/document solutions as required and perform knowledge transfers to stakeholders. You also plan and participate upgrade and development projects as well as in SAFe/Agile development processes. In challenging issues, you will also provide technical and ways of working support for applications according to Metso Outotec Support model. You support the users and Application Owners in troubleshooting in both application and business process issues.

To secure application service delivery, you co-operate with many stakeholders: HR & Admin team members, HR, legal, compliance, privacy and risk management functions, partners and IT teams. You also interact with peers and follow overall applications’ development in other companies.

To succeed

To succeed in the role, you should have a background with HR IT applications or related business functions. Experience about SAP Successfactors, SAP, ServiceNow or Salesforce is considered an advantage. We assume you to have Bachelor's or Master's degree either in Business Administration or Information Technology. Although not a prerequisite, a good understanding of ITIL, SAFe, Lean, Agile ways of working is preferable.

We are looking for a person who has experience with global HR applications, good skills and understanding for business processes & requirements and is willing to co-operate with different stakeholders in a multi-functional team. You should have self-directed working style and you are used to working in a hectic and multitasking environment. You have excellent communication skills and fluent written and spoken in English – other language skills may be considered as an advantage.
