Do you want to be a frontline expert in delivering the world's leading pulp drying technology to our customers?
Valmet's Pulp Drying Technology Unit develops, sells and delivers processes and equipment to worldwide customers and executes variety of projects starting from deliveries of complete Pulp Drying Plants to rebuilds of existing lines and single equipment.
As Chief Engineer you are responsible for delivering the mechanical engineering to our delivery and RTD & product management related projects. You will participate to lay-out and detail engineering, leading and guidance of engineering subcontractors, preparation of procurement and documentation.
You will have the opportunity to actively participate in diverse tasks, both independently and as a member of a project team.
You have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent, preferably couple of years of work experience in engineering and adequate knowledge of Airborne Pulp Drying processes. You master dimensioning of the structures and you are familiar with different production techniques. To succeed, you are familiar with in 3D engineering software, preferably with Catia V6.
You are a person, with proactive attitude to speak up and push your projects forward, as you will lead and organize also others work. You enjoy managing the overall project as well as solving detailed engineering problems, making prioritization as you go. You work systematically, can manage your time and priorities, also you are able to handle several ongoing projects at the same time even in quickly changing, sometimes in uncertain situations and under a pressure. Good English skills are needed and other languages are a benefit.
