Business unit Port Cranes, an important part of Business Area Port Solutions, is now strengthening its electrical engineering capacity and looking for a new colleague to join the RTG product group!
As our Electrical Engineer, RTG Cranes you will participate in delivery projects, as well as contribute to designated engineering development initiatives and activities for our RTG portfolio products.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support selected projects by preparing electrical single line, wiring and cable block diagrams according project and business line specifications
- Provide electrical engineering support for Konecranes, Noell and Boxhunter RTG products, for sites and other stakeholders
- Interface to electrical engineering within Port Cranes Technology team
- Support the Chief Electrical Engineer, RTG Cranes in selected product development projects and initiatives

What should you bring?
To succeed in this role, you need to have knowledge of industrial electrical engineering and preferably crane electrics. It's also important, that you are motivated to work across a multitude of cultures interacting with external customers, suppliers and internal partners.
We also expect you to have:
- Technical education (Bachelor or Master degree in e.g. electrical or automation engineering)
- Ability to create electrical drawings and documention according to project or product specifications
- Good knowledge of electrical CAD softwares (preferably E3)
- Fluent written and spoken skills in English. Finnish skills are beneficial.
We also appreciate knowledge of the port equipment business, as well as our products for container handling industry.
This role requires occasional business travel globally (once travelling restrictions are lifted).
