Engineering Manager

Are you a project-driven engineering talent searching for new challenges?

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to strengthen our Projects team in Raisio. The Technology Unit Heat and Power Plants develops, sells and delivers small and medium size CHP plants and boiler plants for biomass-to-energy and waste-to-energy, Oil & Gas boilers and waste heat recovery boilers, typically on EPC basis. 

As Engineering Manager, you are project manager's right hand and lead different fields of engineering in the project by managing the schedule, coordinating the work, collecting and sharing information, and giving technical support. You are often the first point of contact for technical queries from the customer, suppliers and internal stakeholders during the whole project timeline from sales to commissioning. You will have a strong role in purchasing, and you are also responsible for managing the project documentation flow and distribution.

Expectations

To succeed, you should have a suitable technical education (M.Sc. or a B.Sc.), experience in related tasks in industrial environment and a proven track record of leading projects or project engineering successfully. Experience from international projects and power / boiler engineering would be beneficial and you should have adequate English skills, both written and spoken. Position includes occasional travelling.

You are a customer- and goal-oriented person, with a proactive approach to speak up and push your projects forward. It is important, that you are able to motivate your project team and to meet both the customer's expectations as well as the projects financial targets. You work systematically, can manage your time and priorities even in quickly changing situations.
