Engineering Manager, Marine

To support Marine automation system business growth we are looking for an energetic Engineering Manager to lead Marine engineering team. As an Engineering Manager, you will be supporting sales during the sales phase and mastering project engineering resources. You are going to have key role to plan and implement global Marine engineering strategy with area organizations. You will also be responsible for implementing selected engineering Must-Wins Initiatives, including partner development.

Your main responsibilities are

- To develop marine engineering skills and capacity in own team and globally
- To develop partner capacity according to engineering strategy
- To ensure competent resources according to project's needs
- To give global sales support
- To actively participate in global Operations engineering development network
- To further develop engaged, high performing and customer focused teams

Requirements

To be successful in this position you need to be a target-oriented leader but not afraid of hands-on work. You will have a BSc. or MSc. in Automation Engineering or similar and you have already experience in working with delivery projects. You communicate fluently in English, other languages like Finnish are beneficial. In addition we value flexibility, ability to work independently with several simultaneous tasks as well as service-minded attitude.
