We are looking for a Factory Supply Chain Specialist at Hitachi Energy, Transformers business in Vaasa.

In this role, you will support the Factory SCM Manager in ensuring implementation and adherence to SCM strategies, processes and follow up in the factories to ensure material availability, delivery performance and cost competitiveness. You will be working in close co-operation with local stakeholders and HUB Category Managers to support short-term and medium-term sourcing strategy to meet targets on total cost of ownership, quality, and reliability of supplies. Reporting and collaboration with our suppliers will be a large part of your work.

Your responsibilities

- Support, implement and follow up on the business line / HUB sourcing strategy implementation in the factory

- Support management of local or HUB allocated other direct spend in accordance to Hitachi Energy instructions and guidelines

- Translate local material planning and logistics requirements into Service Level Agreement (SLA) with suppliers

- Support company qualification and contractor's qualification according to instructions for assigned spend

- Support local management of price and terms & conditions control throughout the value chain

- Support measures to secure supply vs demand and anticipate related to changes or non-repetitive/new requirements. Improve on tender material costing and support tender specific negotiations where applicable

- Support all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies, instructions and procedures

Your background

- Experience or studies in Supply Chain Management or Logistics

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (with different internal and external stakeholders)

- Great teamwork attitude, strong attention to details, preventing errors and solving problems

- Adherence to deadlines, reliability and a structured working style

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Innovation and proactivity are a way-of-working for you

- Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English
