Financial Analyst, Credit Control

Financial Analyst, Credit Control

to join the Treasury and Risk Management team at our headquarters in Espoo.

Corporate risk team coordinates Neste’s overall risk management framework and processes as well as corporate insurance programs. The team also has a key role in counterparty risk management, including credit risk analysis and control processes. As a part of the team, your core role is to support Neste Marketing and Services Business Unit in management of credit risks.

Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are

• Develop processes and tools for periodical and ad hoc analysis and reporting of credit risk exposures
• Ensure timely and high quality analytical support for credit risk related decision making in Marketing & Services Business Unit
• Increase the level of automatisation in daily routines and reporting of the Credit control team
• Support master data governance by building effective quality checks for credit control related data
• Prepare and calculate monthly IFRS9 standard provision
• Design and deploy RPA in Marketing & Services credit control processes
• Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement in credit control related processes, take action and coordinate development work together with the various internal stakeholders
• Participate in Marketing & Services ERP projects

 You will work closely with various internal stakeholders to ensure proactive and continuous credit risk management processes as well as transparent risk analysis and reporting.

The best combination to success in this role

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant field (eg. Economics, Finance, Information systems)
• Experience in financial management, audit or management consulting e.g. in Big4
• Analytical mindset supported with experience in analytical work, reporting and process automatisation
• Strong MS Office and Google tools skills and experience with MS AX, Oracle and previous MS Dynamics experience is desirable
• Good understanding of finance concepts and processes
• Good interpersonal skills
