Head of Business Analytics, Data Science & Engineering

Head of Business Analytics, Data Science & Engineering is responsible for building data and analytics capabilities and solutions enabling a data driven, fact-based leadership and decision making across the business group. Together with your professional team you will be building scalable analytics systems, predictive models, data structures and automation solutions providing easy access to data that supports daily decisions, analytics and reporting in various business areas and operations.

Driven by eCommerce and Delivery Services business priorities you will be identifying and planning data projects and ensuring their execution. You will be responsible for the engagement, target setting, development and well-being of data analysts, scientists, and engineers in your team. As a thought leader and strong contributor, you will also actively collaborate, coach, and share best practices with other experts in data and analytics area internally and externally. You will work together with different teams & stakeholders and interact widely within the business group and across Posti.

Would this be you?

• Strong background in working with data in a hands-on role as a data scientist, data engineer or analyst
• Proven track record in building business driven data capabilities and earlier experience in leading data analytics and/or engineering teams
• Strong business acumen and ability to prioritize data initiatives based on business value
• Technical competence with modern cloud-based data architectures
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, ability to influence and engage others
• Fluency in written and verbal Finnish and English
