Laboratory Manager, Analytical Laboratory

We are looking for a Laboraotry Manger, Analytical Laboratory to our Analytical Laboratory in Pori Research Center.  This position is permanent.

In Analytical Laboratory there are more than 30 experts working with various inorganic, mineralogical and structural analyses for our customer and R&D projects. Part of the laboratory team is working in continuous three shift.

As Laboratory Manager, you will:

• Develop operations, people and facilities in our Analytical Laboratory
• Have budget responsibility over the analytical operations
• Be responsible of HSE and quality of operations
• Develop LIMS system
• Be responsible for development of equipment base and methodology in Analytical Laboratory
• Participate in developing the operations in Research Center

To succeed, you will need:

• Minimum M.Sc degree in chemistry
• Expertise in inorganic analytical chemistry
• Active development attitude
• Ability to inspire and to be inspired 
• Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English
• Knowledge in R&D teamwork
• Ability to act according to Metso Outotec Leadership Principles

We will provide a team of analytical chemistry experts for you to work with and variable analytical challenges within our projects.
