Lead Developer, Insurance

Our global IT client CGI is looking for a Lead Developer who is keen on building modern solutions while also being the communicator between the developer and the client.

In this role

In this long-term project, you get to do hands-on coding and represent your team in various situations when working with your client operating in the banking and insurance industry. You will be the Lead Developer in a Java Team that works in Agile methodologies, and besides the Developers, this role requires collaboration with other persons like Agile Master, Business Analyst, Test Engineers and so on. With your team, you get to work with one of the largest and most well-known financial companies in Finland.

Due to NDA more information about the client and the project is told in the interview phase.

NB! This position is also suitable for independent entrepreneurs/freelancers.

Requirements

• Java and Spring
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• JIRA
• Good communication skills in English and a customer-oriented attitude
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker is seen as an advantage

Our client's office is located in Helsinki but your location may be elsewhere in Finland if you are able and willing to travel to our client’s office occasionally.
