Kalmar is  looking for a Manager, Master Data Management. The purpose of the position is to lead the Master Data management  team in  KAMOS Services in collaboration with KAS Services to ensure quality on global item and installed base data to support life cycle management,  parts availability and service sales.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Enable parts life cycle management by  develop and maintain item and installed base master data management models and policies
• Support Service sales and parts availability by drive and manage an active data management to create items,  maintain the quality of data and keep part range under control
• Support Kalmar 3rd party and maintenance Sales by  master data for other brands
• Manage cost control in area of responsibility
• Lead and manage the global Master Data Management team 
• Ensure business compliance to company policies   
• Cooperate with Cargotec IM to maintain and improve ERP and PDM systems performance 
• Act as Concept Owner In Cargotec MDM for Kalmar in Installed Base domain and  as Services Concept Owner in Cargotec MDM for Kalmar in Product domain 
• Cooperate with Kalmar divisions and Market Areas to maintain and improve data content quality.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Commercial or Technical background
• Master or Bachelor degree in business administration/mechanical engineering/industrial management/computer science/information technology or equivalent work experience
• At least 6 years of experience in service business or heavy machinery industry
• Systems and processes development experience
• Knowledge of Kalmar product offering
• Experience in item data quality requirements and relative business effects
• IT skills, including ERP, PDM and data analyze programs, such as Excel or Access
• Ability to contribute in IM system change projects
• Ability to bring together different stakeholders and funnel ‘local’ business requirements in global solution framework
• Capability to make ideas to actions 
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure to keep agreed deadlines.
