Manager, Product and Component Testing, Underground Drilling

Our Systems, Technologies and PQV team is now looking for a determined and quality focused MANAGER, PRODUCT AND COMPONENT TESTING for our Testing team. The position is full-time, permanent and based in Tampere, Finland.

Your role

As a Manager, Product and Component Testing you will be a member of the R&D Team at Underground Drilling. You will lead a team of testing engineers and will be responsible for the Factory and Site testing activities. Role covers planning and managing drilling equipment and component test activities, testing tool management and testing method development. You will work closely with Product Line and Engineering teams and have opportunity to impact and drive internal standards of Underground Drilling product safety and Quality. At your role we provide insight into fascinating future of Autonomous and Electrified mining and unique testing environment at our own underground Test Mine in Tampere.

Your background and what we find important 

You have a relevant technical education and prior experience in Testing or Project work as member of team or leading the team. Mobile Equipment experience is seen as benefit. You are able to schedule and maintain work plans. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English with multiple stakeholders to collect information needed to build testing portfolio and maintain continuous two-way communication to keep stakeholders aware of activity status. Utilizing long term R&D Portfolio you are able to identify demand for future testing capabilities and competencies and built them within your team.
