We are seeking an individual with experience to develop manufacturing to support the global growth of our products. This would include a structured approach to develop manufacturing processes for given volumes from prototype through production, maintaining the highest levels of quality.
Furthermore, your responsibilities are:
- Use of lean manufacturing to continuously improve manufacturing process
- Manufacturing process flow charts, PFMEAs, control plans and work instructions for products/processes
- DFA/DFM concepts for reduced cost and highest quality and participate in the DFMEA process
- Provide CAPEX estimates and analyzes manual vs. automatic equipment selections and timing
- Design fixtures and tooling for manufacturing processes
- Packaging requirements for incoming and outgoing material
Background & Skills
To be successful in this position you are analytical, and you are self-driven with strong interpersonal skills.
You have an active approach to your work and readiness to make decisions and plan and execute projects independently.
You should have an Bachelors or master’s degree engineering (preferably in mechanics) with multiple years’ experience.
Additionally, you should have experience:
- Autocad, NX or other CAD program
- Six sigma lean manufacturing
