Within Pulp & Energy's Global Quality Assurance team, we are looking for a Material Quality Specialist to work on capital and rebuild projects. Any major location in Finland or Sweden can be considered as your work office.
In this role you act as material quality specialist and your main responsibility is supporting and participating in material quality related tasks within own organization as well as towards customers and suppliers worldwide.
As Material Quality Specialist, you will
- Act as specialist related to mainly metallic materials and their properties
- Prepare and maintain material related requirements for purchasing
- Audit new material suppliers and follow-up their performance continuously
- Support manufacturing in material and manufacturing metallurgy related tasks
- Participate in trouble shooting in material related failure analyses
You have a suitable educational background and knowledge in codes and standards related to materials as well as pressure equipment (e.g. PED 2014/68/EU, EN standards, ASME). Excellent knowledge in metallic materials is essential and additional material knowledge is seen as advantage. Also, knowledge in metallic material manufacturing techniques as well as component manufacturing techniques (e.g. forming, welding, heat treatment, etc) are very much appreciated.
Your personal characteristics include excellent communication skills, initiative and flexibility. You have structured and analytic way of working and reporting. Multi-cultural co-operating and English skills are needed, and this position includes also some travelling.
