Product Manager, Process Automation, Hydrogen

Do you have a solid background in gas processing? And yet, you are interested in new technologies and digitalization? We strive to strengthen our Process Automation team to meet customer needs in the growing H2 industry. We are looking for a Product Manager to join our professional team.

We are looking for a Product Manager to strengthen our team with profound automation system knowledge to meet the requirements of our process customers, especially in the growing hydrogen projects.

Your role is to support area sales managers by defining a suitable solution and costing for process industry DCS projects including certified safety solutions, ATEX solutions and typical terminal automation solutions like MID certified measurements and Custody Transfer Systems. You can identify and mitigate technical risks during the sales process. With Valmet R&D and business management, you co-operate to develop our automation platform into a strong solution for the hydrogen industry.  

This position requires

Experience of Valmet DNA DCS system (or strong knowledge of other DCS systems)

Understanding of process industry automation needs, especially in gas processing

Fluent spoken and written English, other languages are an asset

Basic knowledge of safety requirements; handling of flammable liquids & gases

Technical education (M.Sc./B.Sc.) or equivalent

Beneficial for this position

TUV safety system certification or similar

Experience in defining ATEX solutions

MID certified measurement systems

Custody Transfer Systems

Terminal Automation Solutions
