We are looking for a proactive and co-operative Project Manager for our R&D department to manage New Product Development (NPD) projects to be based in Lahti.

Do we share same mission?

You have overall responsibility of project management in specific NPD projects. You take care of the project planning and scheduling, controlling and development.

The main responsibilities are:

• Contributing to NPD Project proposals by helping Product Lines
• Executing projects according to our project model and following our processes
• Creating and updating the project plans to meet defined scope and objectives
• Preparing project budgets and reporting financial forecasts 
• Leading project team with active and effective communication
• Managing dependencies and mitigating risks by keeping stakeholder reviews and reporting do different forums.
• Taking part in developing our project management tools, -processes and -reports

Your character & background

We’re looking for a project professional with the ability to lead our project management to next level. You have suitable education in Engineering or Economics, experience in project management and successful track record of delivering on time. Experience of close cooperation with product development functions is preferred. Your way of working is analytical, systematic, well organized and remains also under pressure. You have good leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Cross-functional experience in a global environment and general business process understanding are required to be successful in this job. As we operate in an international business fluent English is required. The job may include occasional travelling.
