We are looking for a Purchaser to join the Corporate Procurement team. The role of our procurement is to enable strong business performance, sustainable purchasing processes and supplier collaboration, and to secure the availability of right materials and services considering the needs and requirements from our stakeholders.
As a Purchaser you will join the Procurement Operations team. Main target for the team is to give timely and good quality service for the procurement and business teams and to handle procurement related operational tasks.
About the role
You will play an important role in building the collaboration and ways of working towards the procurement community and business teams. In your role as a Purchaser your primary responsibilities will be for example:
- Supporting strategic procurement teams in sourcing and contracting activities
- Providing support in source-to-pay process and tool usage
- Participating pre-defined sourcing cases with varying role (supporting, tendering, contracting etc.)
You will focus to direct categories and support to businesses located in Finland, but you will have the possibility to contribute in other categories and business areas as well, depending on your experience and will. You will work a lot and support procurement teams with SAP Ariba tool.
In the position you will report to Team Leader, Procurement Operations Nordic. The location for this position is Espoo, Finland.

What we are looking for
You are an active self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team. In this position you will need to work often independently so we value initiative and hands-on attitude. As a person you are positive, open minded and most importantly you have a great “can do” attitude. You work closely with different stakeholders, so you need good interpersonal and communication skills. You have the ability to drive things to achieve the goals. Experience working with Source-to-pay systems is a great advantage.
You hold a bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. supply chain management or procurement) and have few years of experience working with procurement. Previous experience as a purchaser or similar position is considered as an asset. You are fluent in English and Finnish. Other language skills are seen as an advantage.
