Purchasing Manager

Are you ready to join our procurement team to grow into full professional in purchasing Air Systems for paper, pulp and power plant projects?

Air Systems Technology Unit develops and delivers board and paper machine air and drying systems. Our offering helps customers to increase productivity, achieve lower operating costs, save energy and improve quality.

We are now looking for a business-oriented Purchasing Manager, who has willingness to learn new things and enthusiasm to improve our operations. Your main responsibility would be the purchasing in Air System projects. The job requires travelling and extending the supplier network around the Europe. The future content of the work can be modified according to the applicant's competences.

Expectations for you

To succeed in this position, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

• M.Sc. degree in (Mechanical) Engineering or equivalent in other relevant field
• Preferably at least couple of years of experience in purchasing, we also highly value previous experience from similar field either from engineering, manufacturing or sales work
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and tools and understanding how purchasing supports business as well as internal and external customers
• Familiarity with ERP LN or Baan
• Good communication, negotiation and team working skills
• Fluency with written and oral communication in English, other languages are seen as a benefit

You are a well-organized person with good social skills and analytical mindset, curiosity is driving you ahead to identify and determine problems and solve them effectively.
