Your tasks will include participating in the planning, setting up and managing new ways of collaboration and innovation inside Metsä Group and supporting Metsä Group's business areas by leading and/or providing expertise in joint R&D projects. You will plan and lead complex R&D projects or programmes that involve external partners and public R&D support. You will also get to dig into science & technology in selected areas, interpreting research results and developing them into business concepts. In addition, you will monitor closely the innovation landscape related to the Metsä Group's area of operations and participate in assessing startup investment opportunities as a part of the Metsä Spring team.
