We are looking for Researcher, Troubleshooting Analytics to join Research Analytics group. The position is located in Neste Technology Centre, Kilpilahti (Porvoo).
Your part in Neste journey
Neste Innovation function’s Research & Development unit drives renewal in the industry. Research Analytics group is a part of this pioneering work and responsible for the analytics supporting R&D projects, product development and production. An essential part of the work is to develop and apply new analytical methods.
In your role, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting analytics together with a team. You will work closely in cross-functional projects with other researchers, engineers and experts from e.g. R&D, Production and Technical Service. You will also participate the development of our research laboratory by analyzer investments and method development. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. Working safely at all times is essential to all of us.
Keys to success in this role
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is:
- At least Master’s degree in organic or analytical chemistry, chemical engineering (or other similar relevant)
- Solid experience in organic analytics and different analysis techniques, especially infrared spectroscopy
- Solid experience in research
- Min 5 years working experience in the field
- Excellent coordination and collaboration skills
- Proactivity and can-do attitude
- Fluent Finnish and English
We also value:
- Doctorate degree in organic or analytical chemistry, chemical engineering (or other similar relevant)
- Broad knowledge in different analysis techniques
- Knowledge in DSC analysis
- Experience in method development and validation
- Knowledge in project work
