Fortum Recycling&Waste provides recycling and material efficiency services, environmental management and hazardous waste treatment in the Nordics.

Fortum Battery Recycling is providing recycling services and recycled products to lithium Ion Battery industry. We offer a sustainable, transparent, low CO2 and efficient way on recycling the Batteries powering the change to electric mobility. We are an agile business line inside Fortum looking for talentet members to our team.

About the role

The battery recycling business is a growth business, and this is your opportunity to leave your own footprint to the way we ensure that electric mobility is even greener in the future. 

As a Sales Manager your main objective is to build up a customer network and support current customers for solving their needs in field of lithium battery recycling services. You aim to find, understand, qualify and manage sales opportunities which are matching and accomplishing our strategic targets. 

  • Understand customer needs and establish good and sound relations with stakeholders 
  • Be in close contact with customer and learn early about new opportunities
  • Close and active collaboration Supply Chain Management
  • Drive and support continuous improvement of all Sales relevant topics incl. the Sales Process

What we are looking for

  • Skills in understanding complex customer needs.
  • Competence in sales of services
  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to align customer targets with internal priorities
  • Distinguished communication, networking and negotiation skills
  • Basic technical understanding of battery technologies
  • Hands-on mentality and open-minded, paired with a flexible, self-driven and solution focused working style to cope with a fast growing work environment
  • English fluent in speaking and writing

Prefferred location is Finland and the role will require some travelling.
