If yes, please continue reading! We are looking for a Senior Business Controller to join Valmet's Group Business Controlling and Reporting team based in Keilaniemi, Espoo. The team is responsible for providing Valmet management with relevant, reliable and up to date information about the financial situation of Valmet Corporation and Business Lines. Responsibilities include also facilitation of monthly estimation process, planning process for next financial year as well as supporting Valmet strategy process from financial perspective. One of the key responsibilities is maintenance and development of finance applications, as well as user support in reporting processes.
Group Business Controlling and Reporting team works in close co-operation with Business Reporting Development team in building world-class business reporting and analysis systems together with related processes, including e.g. tools for project and order planning and overhead costs planning.
As Senior Business Controller you review and validate corporate monthly reporting and estimates including analytical work, and act as an essential contact person to Valmet units globally. Your responsibilities include reporting and commenting of monthly financials to CEO, CFO, and other internal stakeholders, ad hoc reporting as well as financial support to business organization and Group management. You will also participate to ongoing global ERP project as a Subject Matter Expert of management reporting.
Your home location is Valmet head office in Keilaniemi, Espoo. Final job description can be adjusted according to your skills and experience.
You have Master's degree in Finance, Economics or related field and at least 5 years work experience in business reporting and controlling, ideally in a publicly listed international company.
Experience in financial accounting and IFRS's are considered as advantages in this position. You are a service-minded person with great interpersonal skills. You tolerate pressure and are able to work with tight schedules in a global multicultural environment. You have interest to analyze financial results and forecasts, deep understanding of management reporting and processes, together with ability to quickly adopt new solutions and instructions. You have excellent skills in MS Excel and experience from some common financial consolidation system, preferably HFM. You communicate fluently in Finnish and in English and have strong presentation skills in both languages, also in technical financial matters.
