Senior Manager,Global Quality Management

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Quality Management in the Pulp & Energy Business Line. In this position, you will focus on Quality Management related tasks and collaborate with P&E's global organization. You are a result-driven key player driving Valmet's performance forward to meet the excellence in quality processes and assure we meet or even go beyond the quality expectations. In this position you will navigate and cooperate with Valmet's international matrix organization with several equally important stakeholder groups. You will work with colleagues mostly in Finland and Sweden and your working location will be Tampere, Finland.

Your Responsibilities are:

• Leading of global Quality Management team with manager responsibilities in P&E

• Resource management and competence development within the department

• Management system maintenance, development, and training in P&E

• Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reporting in P&E

• Internal and external audit coordination in P&E

• Continuous improvement and Lean development in P&E

• Represent P&E in Valmet Quality Team

Expectations:

To be successful in this role you should have:

• 3-5 years' experience in Quality Management

• A suitable master's or bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar (f.ex. paper/energy /pulp technology) including some quality related courses and good understanding of business processes

• Lead Auditor Qualification

• Knowledge of Lean methodology and experience or formal training in lean skills and root cause analysis methods

• Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and auditor competence

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably in Finnish along with training, presentation, and negotiation skills

• Ability and skills to motivate internal and external stakeholders to follow quality in matrix organization
