Senior Process Specialist, Industrial Internet

Are you ready to bring the future to our customers and boost their performance? We are now looking for a Senior Process Specialist to our Industrial Internet team!

Valmet Industrial Internet is moving our customers' performance forward in a fast pace. Performance Centers are serving our customers in different industries with our Industrial Internet applications. The Performance Center services consist of data driven real-time monitoring and optimization services and Industrial Internet applications support. We are now looking for Senior Process Specialist to serve our Board and Paper industry customers globally.

Your main responsibility as the Senior Process Specialist is to provide automation & process support and solutions by analyzing data from our customers' plants remotely. You will be the first point of contact for customer requests, which can be related for example to paper machine trouble shooting, production or quality optimization. You handle cases from start to finish, but there is always an extensive network of Valmet's technology specialists around the world to back you up. You proactively monitor and analyze plant data to finetune and optimize our customers' processes.

You will also participate in developing our Industrial Internet offering to our Board and Paper customers. Together with our DevOps team, you will have an opportunity to create new value-adding applications by providing your process expertise.

Expectations

Your role will be to provide the process expertise to our Industrial Internet offering and Valmet Performance Center services. In practice this means an educational background in automation or other related field of technology and experience from paper making lines.

You like putting your data analysis skills in action and you are comfortable making recommendations based on data. Systematic and organized way of working helps you to succeed in the role. Even though you assess alternatives critically, you have a positive outlook and a can-do attitude.

Moving our customers' performance forward is one of our core values and it should also be your key driver. You enjoy troubleshooting and reaching the results through cooperation. You actively reach out to our global network of specialists, share your knowledge and ideas and learn from others. To do that you will need to be fluent in both written and oral English and Finnish.
