Join the Digital Transformation at Kalmar Services

We are looking for a passionate eCommerce enthusiast to join our Digital Tools Team to innovate, develop and transform the eCommerce business at Kalmar Services.

As a Solution Owner you will be leading and coordinating the technical development of Kalmar eCommerce Platform together with internal stakeholders, system architects, internal and external developers and vendors with the goal of growing the eCommerce business while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining the global e-commerce platform;
  • Gathering business requirements and development needs from stakeholders;
  • Creation of technology roadmap, and leading the development of new features;
  • Project portfolio management, project definition, planning and resourcing, establishing project steering and management practices, ensuring professional project execution in schedule and in budget, and project reporting and documentation;
  • Stakeholder communication and management;
  • Vendor management, preparing materials for requesting quotations, executing quotation processes and vendor selection;
  • Cooperating with Kalmar Services business functions;
  • KPI Reporting and analytics;
  • Maintain and improve e-commerce systems performance and support;
  • Producing and maintaining application documentation;
  • Key-user support and training.

What you’ll need to succeed:


  • Commercial or Technical background;
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in industrial management/ business administration/ information technology/ computer science/ mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience;


  • Minimum 5 years of experience of e-commerce solution development and support, and ERP or other digital application;


  • Good knowledge of eCommerce system architecture and system integration;
  • Knowhow of SAP Commerce cloud and system-to-system is seen as an advantage;
  • Good understanding of Project Management and Change Management practices;
  • Cross-functional, multi-company and multi-cultural project management experience;
  • Ability and authority to bring together different stakeholders and funnel ‘local’ business requirements in global solution framework;
  • Customer service mind-set and good communication skills;
  • People management skills with ability to motivate individuals;
  • Capability to develop ideas into actions and projects;
  • Problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure to keep agreed deadlines;
  • Working in an international environment;
  • Networking skills with excellent spoken and written communication;
  • Vendor management capabilities;
  • Quality assurance.
