Sourcing Analyst

Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy’s Turku Site is a global technology and manufacturing center for loading and hauling equipment.

Sourcing professional with great collaboration skills - looking for new career opportunities? We might have a suitable job for you: we are now looking for an analytical and cooperative Sourcing Analyst. The position is permanent and located in Turku, Finland.

Your role

As a Sourcing Analyst you will collect and analyze data of direct materials related to products, components and vendors, supporting category teams and stakeholders in decision making process. You will coordinate sourcing tasks and manage target costing related to New Product Development, Current Product Engineering and New Product Industrialization projects within Product Unit Load & Haul. You will maintain and report material cost development of agreed projects within PU and you will develop sourcing tools and reporting in collaboration with our Business Area central sourcing process team. In this role, you will collaborate with Project Office, Finance, Engineering and Supply to ensure set targets for NPD’s and sourcing by leveraging total cost of ownership levers, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the organization.

Your background and what we find important

We are looking for someone with a BSc or MSc in Engineering or Economics. To be successful in this position you have experience from either sourcing, engineering or project management in manufacturing industry. In this role, your previous experience from Microsoft Applications, especially Excel is required and PowerBi know-how is a benefit. We place great value on your personal qualities in this recruitment, characterized by your strong personal drive and verbal skills. Active communication within the Sourcing team and across functional borders is a must and therefore, strong skills in communication are required. You are strategic, analytical and solution oriented. We expect fluent spoken and written English.
