Sourcing Specialist

Sandvik has solid Indirect Procurement country organizations, team Finland being one of them. Indirect Procurement team Finland is an active part of a decentralized organization in which we play an integral role as a category driven, efficient and a resilient procurement organization. Our team is now looking for a full-time Sourcing Specialist to be located at our Tampere site. If you are a proactive and analytical procurement professional - we might have a suitable job for you

About your role

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for local investments and packaging category with sustainability in focus. The role includes also some sourcing related supportive tasks. You ensure the fulfillment of procurement policies and processes, as well as compliance with ethical standards, relevant laws and regulations.

About you

You have a suitable educational background (e.g. Bachelor in Sourcing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business) in a relevant field and couple of years’ practical experience of sourcing related activities. You have good negotiation skills and good stakeholder management capabilities and you have some experience of project work. You can create and maintain good relations with both internal and external stakeholders.

Good knowledge of processes, systems and tools for purchasing and sourcing is required. Your oral and written communication skills in Finnish and English are excellent. You need to have team spirit and enthusiasm with an analytical mindset and a passion for reaching the business’ goals.
