Supplier Development Project Manager

A development oriented professional with great collaboration skills - looking for new career opportunities? We might have a suitable job for you: we are now looking for a dynamic and cooperative Supplier Development Project Manager. The position is permanent and located in Turku, Finland.

Your role

In order to secure and improve quality of our suppliers and processes, we are looking for someone to drive and secure new supplier ramp up and development. Someone, who will drive continuous improvement projects based on obtained data and work together with Category managers to deploy sourcing and PU/division strategy. In this role, you will be the face of innovative thinking and continuous improvement on both process and product level. As a Supplier Development Project Manager, you will drive the efforts on, cross-functionally cooperating with number of stakeholders and internal customers, including, but not limited to Supply, R&D, Product Line, PU management, etc. 

Your background and what we find important

We are open to welcome energetic, highly motivated innovators who are not afraid of a change. To be successful in this position you have strong experience in tasks related to quality. In this role your previous experience in utilizing Six Sigma tools and ability to read and understand technical documentations, drawings, specifications and standards is a must. Understanding of NDT methods and welding knowhow is required. IWE, IWT, IWS, IWI certification is a benefit. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are key success factors. You have experience of executing continuous improvement of supplier quality processes and tools. We expect good IT-skills and fluent spoken and written English.
