Trade Coordinator

We are looking for a Trade Coordinator to join our Internal Trade Office as the responsibilities of the function expand. This is a 1.5 year fixed term position.

Our team is responsible for the new Transfer Price Cross Border Sales to Delivery -process in our Paper Business Line. In this position you work closely with our global purchasing and external supplier network to ensure an efficient delivery chain responding to our internal project requirements. Your main contacts are in procurement, projects, logistics and finance both in Finland and internationally. Externally your main contacts are our suppliers and Valmet logistics partners.

As a Trade Coordinator your main responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring delivery statuses and ensuring on-time deliveries in cooperation with external warehouses and suppliers.

  • Issuing both internal sales orders and purchase orders to external suppliers.

  • Organizing transportation and issuing documents required for shipments.

Our expectations for you:

  • A suitable degree in, for example, Logistics or Business Administration

  • Previous experience in logistics, procurement and working in an international environment is highly valued, but more important than experience is your willingness to learn.

  • The ability to adapt to a dynamic and intensive environment

  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills

  • IT-skills. Especially knowledge of Baan, Infor LN and PDM are an advantage in this job.

  • Fluent written and spoken communication in English. Other languages are considered an advantage.
