We are looking for a
VICE PRESIDENT
to Metsä Board Kaskinen mill.
Metsä Board Kaskinen mill produces bleached chemi-thermomechanical pulp (BCTMP). The mills yearly production capacity is 390 000 tons and the mill has about 80 employees.
What's your role in the future Metsä?
You will together with the mill team lead and develop mill operations according to Metsä Board operating model. As Vice President you are responsible for the overall productivity of the mill, including planning, budgeting and estimates.
The key responsibility areas are:
‒ industrial and work safety
‒ production efficiency and volume
‒ cost efficiency
‒ product quality
‒ environment
‒ well-being
You will also have active communication and collaboration with employees, including union representatives. The position is located at Kaskinen Mill and you will report to SVP, Production.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a person who can meet the following requirements:
‒ Solid experience of production management and leadership skills
‒ University degree from engineering or technical field
‒ Result oriented, proactive attitude towards developing the operations and strong implementation skills
‒ Analytical and problem solving skills
‒ Clear self-esteem and ability to take responsibility
‒ Excellent communication and co-operation skills
