Valmet's Paper Business line supplies board, tissue and paper machinery as well as equipment and machine rebuilds for the board, tissue and paper industries.

Are you our new Chief Engineer to our Board & Paper Mills Technology Unit?

In this role, you will be responsible of doctor project engineering. In your daily work you will coordinate doctor projects in several machine sections and guide our international engineering team. You will also get the chance to participate development, machine lay-out and detail engineering. Leading and guidance of partners, preparation of procurement and documentation will be part of your work as well.

The position is located in Jyväskylä.

Expectations

You have a bachelor's or a master's degree in engineering, and preferably gained few years of experience working in engineering. You are familiar with 3D engineering software (the basic designing programs) like Catia V6, and you are familiar with different production techniques. In your work, you are systematic, self-driven and target oriented, and you are capable of leading and engaging others in work. Our results are gained by working seamlessly together so excellent collaboration skills are essential in this role.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Other languages are seen as a benefit.

You can be an experienced engineer, ready for the Chief Engineer role, or you can be recently graduated engineer student with strong motivation and willingness to grow with Valmet. This is a great opportunity for professional growth!
