IT Business Partner for Surface Drilling division

Your mission – Enabling IT success in division Surface Drilling

In this position, you are accountable for all aspects of IT and agreed service levels for division Surface Drilling - including strategy, forecasts, roadmaps, risk assessment, development activities and operations of systems. To enhance our delivery, you initiate necessary improvements and enable speedy decisions based on business needs and foreseeable future plans, and you handle projects and life cycle management of applications and infrastructure in line with our Enterprise Architecture.

Other responsibilities included in your work are providing IT enabled business transformation, managing expectations, balancing value and costs, and escalating major incidents. You also ensure excellent stakeholder management and good relations between Surface Drilling Division and the overall IT community.

The location for this position is in Finland, preferably Tampere, and some business travel occurs.

Your character – A strategic IT professional with true team spirit

We are looking for someone with a degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science or equivalent area. With at least seven years’ experience of (IT) management – including either supplier relations, change programs, governance or business and requirement analysis – you are a professional in the field.

You are comfortable interacting in a global, matrix environment and as a confident business partner you effortlessly pave the way of successful IT operations. As we are present in all corners of the world, you need excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
